How do I setup eSIM on Windows 10 computers?

The process of setting up an eSIM involves two key steps: installation and activation. You can install the eSIM on your compatible device whenever it's convenient. However, activation of the selected eSIM bundle should only be done once you are in the coverage area of your eSIM.

For a seamless experience, we suggest completing the installation before starting your journey and activating the service once you arrive at your destination.

Installation

First, make sure that your laptop is connected to the Internet.

In Windows Search, type Mobile Plans and open the app.

To add the Keepgo eSIM profile to your Windows 10 laptop, you need to use a QR code that we send to you via email. Once you receive it, do the following:

  1. Click on the Start button > Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular > Manage eSIM profiles.
  2. Under eSIM profiles, select Add a new profile to download and install the Keepgo eSIM.

Activation

You can manually switch between profiles:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click Cellular.
  3. Click Manage eSIM profiles.
  4. Select an eSIM profile that you want to discontinue and click Stop using next to it.

You will see the following message: “You'll be disconnected from this cellular network. Continue?” Click YES.

Choose the network that you’d like to connect to, and click Use to activate a new profile.

To connect to cellular data using an eSIM profile:

  1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular > Manage eSIM profiles.
  2. Under eSIM profiles, select the profile you want, and then select Use.
  3. Select Yes for “This will use cellular data from your data plan and may incur charges. Do you want to continue?” You’ll be connected to a cellular data network and ready to go.

Change the Label of Your eSIM Line

On your device, label the eSIM as «Keepgo_bundle_name." This will help clearly identify the eSIM on your device, improving the efficiency of our support services.

To change an eSIM label on a Windows 10 computer, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular > eSIM profiles, select the desired eSIM profile, and then edit the name directly within the profile details.
