Quick universal check (works on most Android phones)
Open the Phone app and dial *#06#
If you see an entry labeled *EID** or IMEI (eSIM), your device supports eSIM.*
*If there’s no EID or eSIM IMEI listed, your device may not support eSIM or the feature may be disabled by the manufacturer, carrier, or region.
Samsung devices
- Open Settings.
- If a search bar is available, type “IMEI” and select IMEI information (or go to About phone > Status).
- Tap IMEI information.
- If you see IMEI (eSIM) or EID, your device supports eSIM.
Other Android devices*
- Open the Phone app and dial *#06# to view identifiers.
- Alternatively, go to Settings > About phone > Status (or SIM status) and look for EID or IMEI (eSIM).
- If an EID or eSIM IMEI is present, the device is eSIM compatible.
Note: Terminology and menu names can vary by brand and Android version. Some devices show only EID (no “IMEI eSIM” label), which still indicates eSIM support.
